Hi! I’m Dr. Thao Tran.
I am a board-certified rheumatologist, physician advocate, and mom living with rheumatoid arthritis and Sjögren’s syndrome.
A patient once told me: “You have blessed me with your story.”
That moment reminded me that medicine is more than labs, imaging, and medications. It’s also story, connection, and humanity.
Here, I share practical knowledge, personal reflections, and accessible handouts on autoimmune disease. I hope to bring both sides of the stethoscopes together: the knowledge I’ve gained as a physician and the perspective I’ve earned as a patient.
My goal is to make rheumatology more understandable, approachable, and relatable.
Welcome. Please stay and explore.
